Another movie VERY similar from what I can recall...

There was another movie with a VERY similar plot sometime in the 90's that involved a little girl being kidnapped at like, age 3 and the parents were searching for her for years, putting her photo on milk cartons, newspapers, etc. 15 or so years later, a teenage (maybe even closer to her 20's) girl shows up at their door claiming to be their missing daughter 'cause she saw the ads, milk cartons, etc. I "think" there was a brother and a sister. After living with the family for a little while, the brother and sister (I think) becomes a tad bit suspicious of the "new girl living in their house", not strongly convinced she's who she says she is. Well it turns out toward the end that she ISN'T their missing daughter and was attempting some kind of identity theft (again, I think). I THOUGHT Kellie Martin (who played Janie in this) was in it, but I can't find a plot match in her 80's or 90's filmography on here. I even checked from 2000 on just for *beep* and giggles, but I DO remember watching it as a teen in the 90's. I was channel surfing one day (or night) and I remember seeing the film's title on Lifetime and the title caught my eye so I watched it and really liked it. If anyone else knows the movie I'm talking about, please respond 'cause I've been trying to remember the movie's name for YEARS but have had NO luck whatsoever.

Thanks!

Are you sure it was a film? I've read a book titled 'Counterfeit Son' where a kidnapped boy is returned to his real family but some of the family doubt that he is their child.

I tried looking through lifetime movies website and these were the only ones I could come up with

Childhood Sweetheart?
A 12-year-old Karen disappears on the way to childhood-sweetheart Greg's house. Seventeen years later, she shows up at his door recounting a tale of being kidnapped and held prisoner. Greg is elated and the two immediately rekindle their romance. But others doubt that this mystery woman is Karen, and so will you. Is she the real thing or isn't she? Find out!

Found
Sixteen years after being kidnapped, Catherine returns home to her mom and her mother's new hubby. But this isn't a touching reunion, especially between Catherine and her new stepdad. In this mystery, everyone has a hidden agenda. Just try to figure out who is telling the truth.

The Stranger Within
Mare is still reeling emotionally 12 years after her three-year-old son Mark's kidnapping. So, when a young man shows up at her doorstep, claiming to be her long-lost kid, she welcomes him with open arms — a little too eagerly. Who knows if he's her baby boy or not; the only thing for sure is that this guy is trouble! Ricky Schroder is über creepy in this role — you'll love it!

I'd also like to add "The Deep End of the Ocean" to that list.

It is about an American middle class, suburban family that is torn apart when the youngest son is kidnapped and raised by a mentally ill woman, until he appears at the front doorstep of his real mother and asks if he can mow the lawn.

Watching it, I felt like it was VERY close to the same story as TFOTMC, except it was more from the perspective of the biological family, rather than the kidnapped child and his parents. In fact there used to be several threads on the movie's page accusing it of plagiarizing TFOTMC.
