The Face on the Milk Carton (1995) + Always Remember I Love You (1990)

First off, I love Always Remember I Love You and The Face on the Milk Carton. They are both great movies. But have any of you noticed how they are both basicaly the same movie. In both movies the child was kidnapped and the "kidnap" parents had no clue. The child goes back to their real families for a while then they go back to the other set of parents. I just thought that was kind of weird. Anyone else notice that?

I havent seen this movie yet, (cant get a copy anywhere) but I want to watch it, because of the movie 'Always remember I love you' if you liked these 2 , you might like "The Deep End of the Ocean" or "i know my first name is steven'

I don't have a solution, but I admire your Question

Or how about the fact that Richard Masur is in both films? ;)

It's not weird, just human. Didn't see your first mentioned movie but did see this one. All of the child's memories, frames of reference, and family are with the people who raised and loved her. All of her past that she remembers is bound up with the people who took her to her first day of kindergarten, and picked her up after. Christmases, dentists, apple picking, first time dumped by best friend, the list goes on.

This movie was so dismissive of Jane as a person. It was all about who owned her.
