I wonder how has it been since they last saw Hannah before she arrives with Janey? Has it been 4 or 5 years since they actually saw her? If my daughter leaves and comes back with a three year old I would be very suspicious.

Hannah was in a cult and hadn't contacted her parents for several years.

Thanks for the reply I wish in the movie the parents would have told us the timeline on how long it's been Before Hannah arrived with Janey.
