Cinema photography, costume, music, acting everything was on point. I grew up on the streets of the Bronx in the 1970's...this movie takes me back every time. The scene of Anthony's return to the Bronx...like a scene straight outta my memories. Period film at its best.

I always thougth this could've been a PG-13 film. It would've appealed to a wider audience.

The spx weren't that great. You could see a lot of obvious mistakes. Blood packages etc.. A larger budget and Quention Tarentino, this wins a few Oscars.
