Ethnically restricted, but universally accurate

This film was condensed into the Afro-American Vietnam experience, but carried forward so many truths that transcend racial barriers that it is often overlooked as a "boyz in the hood" Vietnam war movie. Many of the problems faced by returning vets cross racial barriers and prove them to be insignificant. When subjected to the horror of war, and the trauma of returning to "the world", it doesn't matter what race, creed, or color you are. It';s hard.
