Impressed with Rick Schroder's performance
I'm watching it for the first time right now to honor Scott's memory. I'm 75% finished with it.
It has many actors who were stars even at the time and guys who were going to be stars years down the road (Viggo, Tony Soprano, etc.)
But I am amazed that Schroder didn't finally make the transition to serious acting after they made this film. Even if he isn't leading man material, I think that he made a great case for a "that guy"/ character role in feature films.
Does someone who wields a lot of power in Hollywood hate that guy (rhetorical question)?
