Shot of Dougherty when Hunter announces he's taken command.

Anybody else notice that the shot of Dougherty looking furious while Hunter announces that he's assumed command is actually taken from the scene from when he, Westergaard, and Zimmer are trying to get Wepps to help them?

Like Ramsey he's a warmonger thinking the acting captain is too soft and unwilling to go to battle so he has to go and probably at the end he's furious that he set himself up for a court martial.

also look at his eyes when everyone's cheering when they terminate launch

Yes I noticed that too, he seemed to be the only one disappointed that they weren't going to fire. Almost like he felt cheated that he wasn't going to get his opportunity to go into battle.

When I said I wanted to be a comedian, they all laughed at me. Well, they're not laughing now!

I don't think it was because he *wanted* to go to war, I think its because he didn't want to be wrong.

I think it killed him that after all they went through, Denzel was right all along and he had to eat crow.

Think Dougherty stormed out the hearing like Zimmer.
