Crimson Tide in Space

What about Crimson Tide in space like Outland was High Noon in space, they should do a mutiny on a spaceship with the executive officer removing the captain from command.

Damn near every Star Trek Spin-off has had one of those.....

Day late and a dollar short there...

I joined the Navy to see the world, only to discover the world is 2/3 water!

Star Trek XI.

The mutiny in Battlestar Galactica.

Loved it!

And the original Star Trek series, too. When Commodore Decker took command of the Enterprise and then his XO Spock relieved him of command for acting improperly.

reply

Like the Caine Mutiny.

reply

That ep has one of my favorite Spock lines. Spock can't legally relive Decker of command even tho he is about to destroy the ship, without a full medical exam, that they can't do in the middle of a crisis. Finally Spock just does it and tells Decker "you may file a formal protest with Starfleet assuming that we reach the nearest starbase."

reply

Have the mutineers dressed like Starship Troopers and the ship to look like the Omega class destroyers from Babylon 5.

There had been some mutinies before in science fiction like the 1988 film Space Mutiny which was a bit campy.

reply

The best one as someone mentioned before was the Battlestar Galactic mutiny in the 2nd or 3rd last episode of the final season.

Opinions are just onions with pi in them.

reply

And Space, Above and Beyond were a Captain was gonna kill a shipment of tanks to save the ship but crew members who were tanks refused and mutinied.
