Quentin Tarantino has unoffical writing credit

i read an interview with Tony Scott - he and QT worked together on True Romance - and he actually let QT do some touchups on the script.... if you have a good ear you can actually pick it out....

all the stuff about the horses, silver surfer, and star trek references are all Tarantino

Umm hmm... And this has been brought up only like a million times before.
try adding some NEW input. Thanks.

That's not very nice.

Thank you Quentin Tarantino for providing this otherwise dull movie with your valuable, priceless, and entertaining additions to the dialogue. No doubt your valuable job experience and education in video stores was an aid here as it is in all of your endeavors.

Only two things are actually knowable:
It is now and you are here. All else is merely a belief.

As logicalskeptic implies, the "stuff about the horses, silver surfer, and star trek" was cringeworthy and the film would have benefited from its absence.

rubbish those additions were what made this movie great, the interplay of intellects

IMO in the main they were so lightly cosmetic, I'm not sure why you'd even bother. But I did like the XO's reference to Silver Surfer comics which brought closure to the fight episode.

I'm quite surprised he also didn't "present" it like he does with other films he's not involved in.

This came out in 1995 just one year after Pulp Fiction. Tarantino may have already been a star, but Tony Scott was a much more experienced director, this having been his 8th feature film, and so Tarantino was hardly in a position to "present" it. Besides, Crimson Tide was box office.
