So is Kirby's Silver Surfer the only "real" version of the character? Any Moebius fans here? What about the other artists to draw the character?

Kirby is definitely the definitive Silver Surfer, he created the character, that's one even Stan doesn't doesn't dispute. I wouldn't say he's the only real one though, Moebius did a an interesting take on him, but it's not something I would want to see on a regular basis.
Alex Ross did an amazing Silver Surfer, probably my personal favorite drawings of him. Growing up, I always liked John Byrne's take on him, heavily influenced by Kirby, but with his own style.
