Hymn being sung when sub first submerged

I cannot find out exactly who (what choir), or exactly which version of this hymn, was the one performed for the soundtrack. It is the best version I have heard. This was played as the sub first submerged, early in the movie, right after Hackman gave Washington the cigar on the top of the conning tower, as the sun was setting. There are many versions of this hymn on the internet, but the credits only mention the original composer, not the performer, or choir, who actually sang this particular version. Sounds like the Navy Men's choir, but I am not sure. Any ideas?

The OP knows what Hymn it is.

He was asking specifically....

You did nothing but restate the obvious the OP already knew.

Thanks for playing Captain Obvious.

To the OP.
I looked last night when I first saw your post but I too could not find any reference to which choir specifically sang the version used in the film.

I joined the Navy to see the world, only to discover the world is 2/3 water!

It is performed by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and the Crouch End Festival Chorus (from London).

It's absolutely the best part of Crimson Tide.

Speaking of which, I can't resist mentioning that The Hunt for Red October has the fine Hymn to Red October (Basil Poledouris) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prpdKVHt9Uw
