I am guessing that if this were real life situation, the racism angle would have come out long ago. Agree or disagree?

shareThe race crap almost kills this film. Its not needed for the story. Hackman is off his rocker. I would have liked to have seen him a little more grounded. He is made to look like an absolute nut in this film. Putting guns to the heads of the men and striking officers, its a bit much.
shareWhat race crap? Are we watching the same movie? And the point was that the captain wasn't grounded and those of strong enough character opposed him, even if they didn't like it. The captain himself says he wants people who think for themselves in the beginning of the film...There's a reason he said that.
shareAre you deaf, at the end waiting for the radio for 3 minutes Hackman talks about the horses and totally turns it into white / black issue.
shareThat's your interpretation. It may be correct, it may not but if it was brought up at the hearing all that happened was Captain Ramsey told a story about his favourite breed of horse, their training and their colour. Implication can't be proven.
