Is this movie funny?

Hi, just read some of the quotes, and I find them HIGHlarious! It might just be me, since comedy is not written as a genre on this film?
But, I've never heard of it or seen it, and just read the quotes, and seriously... they're hilarious!
So my question is - Is this movie funny? And not like 'this-movie-sucks-so-bad-its-unintentionally-funny', but it is 'that-joke-was-so-clever-and-the-whole-theather-is-laughing' funny?

Most delicious actor? Jeremy Renner.

This movie is hilarious, and usually in a good way. The scene with Tim Curry and Delroy Lindo is an absolute classic. Go get the DVD. You should be able to find it for five bucks or less somewhere.

Not completely. There are a few scenes that I assume are supposed to be frightening, but turn out pretty damn funny. There's one scene in particular with a bunch of dancing jungle people. It's pretty sweet.

I think the about the monkeys howling like Elvis (love is in the air). Just about all of the funny bits involve Tim Curry.
