I'm also one who thinks that Delroy Lindo's scene at the airport is one of the best in the movie.
There is one part of Lindo's scene about which I haven't yet seen any comments; if it has been mentioned on a different Lindo thread, I offer my apologies for not knowing where that thread is.
At the airport, while they are still outside, the general says that one of the reasons they are being treated relatively well is because Amy is with them, and it wouldn't go well if the outside world saw a gorilla being filmed in a movie come to any harm.
Was this an inside joke, the general referring to both Amy and the movie "Congo"?
