More time has past since this movie

from when it was released (1995) until now (2024) than the time between the original Brady Bunch show (1969) and the movie.

Culture changed so drastically in that 20 years. I don't think we could go back to the 90s and get a fish out of water story like that. Kind of sad.

Agreed. Pure escapism still thrives in stage plays and productions or Broadway, if that's your thing. Not everyone likes musicals (I've read the silent generation of America really liked them).

Many things have come full circle. This and 'The Addams Family' show each had two feature films during the 90s. Thirty years later, now in the 2020s, (still feels weird to type that out) we currently have popular shows being turned into movies. Plus, musicals seem to be trying to make a small comeback (West Side Story, Mean Girls, and Wonka).
