Ppl talk about Jan being so exagerated in this, BUT I thought Mike was as well.
Mike was WAY MORE serious in this than in the old show, in the old show Mike was kinda a big goofball, yeah he was serious when he needed to be, but he sorta acted a clown most of the time.

Well, that's what satire typically is. I never thought of Mike as a goofball in the original series however. He did a few slapsticky things but he was mostly always giving those stern morality talks.
