They should have gotten and EXTREMLY short boy to play Bobby

Ok since this movie totally exaggerates all the Bradys' traits and characteristics, who thinks it would have been funny if Bobby had been really short, like shorter than a normal kid his age like way shorter than Cindy even.

Marcia was exaggerated by being more conceited, Jan was more psycho and squinty eyed, Cindy's LISP was overdone, etc so I think it would have been funny to make Bobby shorter.

There were several episodes where Bobby was teased about being short, esp my Cindy and Peter I remember, and one episode even dealt with his "height problem" where he tries to stretch himself.

Just because we lose today's battle doesn't mean we've lost tommorow's war.

Personally, I don't think I would have liked that. I understand what you're going for with the exaggerations, but I think if they made him too short it would have looked ridiculous to the point where.I don't know if I would've found it funny. That's just me though.

I think it could have been funny, I don't think it would have been any more ridiculious than the way they over exaggerated Jan and her being loony. I mean she had only ONE episode where she had an inferiority complex and "voices" talked to her and that was exaggerated throughout the whole movie, to the point I sorta thought it became unfunny, b/c Jan was really nothing like that in the original. I thought out of all the kids she was prolly the most level headed. She seemed to have a pretty good fullfilled life, she was voted most popular girl, that should say a lot about how her friends saw her.

But Bobby's heigth was an issue through out several episodes.

And sure it would have looed ridiculious, but that's kinda what this movie was all about being ridiculious with exaggerations lol

I definitely agree about how the point of the movie was to exaggerate all of the characters, and I feel that they definitely did that with Jan. I haven't watched the entire movie in a while, so I don't really remember Jan's character being too over the top. And yes Bobby did have a lot of issues with his height in the show. I just feel like if he was shorter it would have made the group scenes odd and too over done. But then again I would actually have to see it done in the movie to see if I thought it was too exaggerated or if it actually amused me. Unfortunately we will never know :(

Bobby was just a prop in the movie anyway. He barely got to do anything and didn't have any major effect on the plot like the other kids did.
