At least I think that is what she was doing(my memory is a little fuzzy). I remember thinking that was a hilarious part though. Does anybody else remember this?

Yep. I was 8 when this came out, and I have vivid memories of re-enacting that scene with my Barbies. Many a Barbie of mine suffered a horrible hairstyle.

I think the hairstyle that Marcia ends up having is supposed to be Patty Duke's hairstyle.
