During a scene at the high school, some mistakes Jan for Marcia. After Jan says "I'm not Marcia. I'm Jan!", some guy off-screen says "Shut up bitch!". Am I the only one who notice that?

I just watched it on VHS and it sounds like he says "So What!"

I'll have to re-check to see what he says since the background audio was low.

I just watched the scene, he definitely says, 'bitch, shutup!'

I am currently watching the movie and I noticed this, so I immediately jumped on the Trivia section here to see if there was anything about it. I'm intrigued at what it was about (and how the director wouldn't have realised that it would be there.)

I heard it as "Just shut up!", though.

I listened to this several times with earphones... I'm pretty certain it was part of the song that was playing in the background.

Sounds like a guy from a very far distance yelling: "Bitch Shut Up!"
But i don't think it was targeted at Jan at all, simply because it seems like it was shouted from a distance, where that person had no chance actually hearing Jan's respond.
