The movie is pretty damned good. Basically, it's a plot about a professional killer named Robert Rath, who is so good at what he does, that when a job needs to be fulfilled, he's the man you call. But Rath has developed a nasty little disease called a 'conscience' (just kidding) and now, he can't bring himself to pull the trigger anymore. He wants out of the assassination business, but now, there's a wild newcomer named Bain who wants to be the no. 1 professional and to do so, he needs to get Rath out of the picture.
When a young hacker named Electra gets involved in the game, Rath sees this as his opportunity to put his skills in the service of the greater good and protect Electra from Bain. Basically, it's a cat and mouse game comparing the skills of a veteran against a rookie. Rath's principles in doing 'hits' are what make him the professional that he is...Bain's techniques are effective too, but they're unorthodox and they draw alot of unnecessary attention. That's basically the theme you have to look at in this movie.
