Dutch buyers in hotel

I love this movie, but I thought this goof was pretty dumb. In the scene with the Dutch buyers and Electra, after Miguel finds the room with the buyers, he proceeds to turn on the TV and looks at the Account Review that's on the screen in order to find the room Electra is in. Why didn't those Dutch buyers, who were really undercover Interpol, just do the same thing!! Don't tell me Interpol agents have never been in a hotel before?! Still, this movie kicks ass.

Don't quote me on this but even if they had done that, they could not have arressted her until they completed the hand over (the money for the information she had) anyway and they probably already knew where she was, they weren't the only Interpol agents in the hotel Bain killed 2 of them before he even got to the hotel room they were out in the hallway. Well thats my theory anyway.

God sent us an angel from the heavens above and called him Wentworth Miller

Maybe they had no intention of arresting her.

She'd obtained information which (presumably) their very best tech guys had failed to get hold of.

So maybe they were willing to buy it off her and let her go free, in case they ever needed her services again.

I thought about this in re-watching flick the other day. I think those guys were more interested in the disk itself than anything else. Also, Electra did say if she smelled a rat, she would bail, so they didn't want to risk that by trying to catch her and her destroying the disk before they got their hands on it.

I've seen this movie a lot of times, and I don't remember them ever saying anything about the Dutch buyers being undercover agents. Maybe i'm wrong since I haven't seen the movie in full in almost a year, but I really don't remember them being mentioned as anything other than buyers for the disc.

They're interpol. Elektra doesn't seem to know that. The assumption is they're undercover agents.
