the swamp scene


Rath killing the other assassin in the swamp doesn't really make sense. It was a contracted killing, because Rath reports in via computer afterwards that it's done. The assassin said "someone had to do the jobs you wouldn't take." That seemed to imply they were both working for the same contractor. So.. why would the contractor want one of his assassins to kill another one for taking jobs that the contractor offered to him? That makes no sense to me.

It apparently doesn't take much to tick off the contactor, and Miguel was up-and-coming, and probably better than the guy in the swamp. It seems to be a theme that once you get "too old" you are forcibly retired; i.e. Nikolai, the guy in the swamp, and then Robert.
