Love the tone of this movie

Some people complain it's slow and boring and the action isn't as grand as most Stallone movies. But it's a movie about Assassins. You know, those people that go into a situation to kill someone as quickly and quietly as possible. The point of this movie was never meant to be big, loud, and over the top like Cliffhanger and Desperado. It's a quiet action/thriller movie just like it's suppose to be. I was never bored once and actually prefer it to The Speciliast which was similar in tone but actually did have a bunch of boring parts.

And they're probably right.

the action isn't as grand as most Stallone movies.

It's OK when it doesn't go completely over the top, such as when Bain is stuck out the window of the cab, smashed repeatedly into a bus and yet just laughs it off. I'd rather films don't include such ludicrous stuff, rather than do it and expect us to believe what we know is impossible.🐭
