Ive watched this movie probably more than a dozen times over the decades....
Ive only just today noticed the "oh good youre not dead" guy who wakes up Ken at his house is NOT John (Loren Dean)

I always- ALWAYS thought it was John. Similar enough build, similar enough hair, look, and voice. And in the scene before John gets some spotlight when he insists about the power struggle, plus John shares a lot of moments with Ken as they team up coming up with reentry. My brain just made it up I guess. I have no idea who the guy it actually is who wakes up Ken, but now I know its the same guy who rushes out of the room when Gene says get guys in the simulator.

This one is on me. And it makes me wonder how many movies or shows have I just made stuff up about and never realized?

It's funny how the mind works and how it puts things together. This is true not just for movies we watch, but life in general.

It makes you wonder how many other things you've (and everyone else) has been wrong about.
