A couple excellent videos debunking the moon landing hoax

A lot of trash on youtube that is of the opinion the moon landings were faked. Here's a video that does an excellent job of explaining how it would of been impossible to fake the filming of the moon landing live broadcasts:

Jarrah White made a video disputing some of SG Collins points and here is his rebuttal:

The first one in particular has received overwhelming positive feedback much to Jarrah Whites annoyance. I think it's already got more views in 10 months then all of Jarrahs videos combined for the last 5 or 6 years he's been at it. Only issue I have is SG Collins opinion that the money spent on the Apollo missions was a waste.

The SG Collins videos are a fine example of the TV/Film industry actually _not_ supporting the hoax theory. On top of that JW's rebuttal contains so many errors that it can't be taken seriously. Whether these are deliberate or not is open to debate, but considering the book "Live TV From the Moon" has been available since 2010 (and which clearly and methodically explains how the TV functioned on the Apollo missions), the is no excuse for sloppy research.

The claim that TV industry pros would not be able to tell the difference between a TV video source, 16mm and kinescoped footage is ridiculous to say the least. Those of us who earn a living by the day-to-day use of such formats had better know the difference between them, lest we wind up at the social services office claiming unemployment benefits.

JW's allegations that SG can't possibly know of the technology because he started in the industry in the 1980's is a logic that I cannot follow. Perhaps, JW has no idea about Apollo because he was born (according to his YT profile) AFTER the Apollo missions. He then has the nerve to suggest SG's logic is flawed!

To those who have actually properly researched the TV tech of Apollo, it is blatantly obvious that JW has NOT. Glaring mistakes which can be easily correlated and cross referenced highlight the glossed over method of investigation JW continues to use.

I am the author of "Live TV From the Moon" and "Live TV From Orbit". I have actually used the technology from Apollo and can verify it works as advertised. The fact that I also started in TV in the mid 1980's should hopefully not exclude me from understanding how that equipment functioned.

Yeah, but... shadows and stuff!? It is difficult not to laugh when dealing with moon "truthers"!

I'm getting a copy of your book, it sounds very interesting.

No need to debunk idiocy from idiots.

50 years from now when the rovers and descent stages are finally returned to Earth and put in a museum, there will be a plaque describing the heroism and fortitude of all those involved from the early stages of engineering to the brave men that rode these crude and dangerous machines to the moon and back.

People seeing these artifacts will laugh at fools like Jarrah White who, with zero astrophysics or engineering knowledge, came up with crack-pot theories that are so easily and completely defeated with science.

Only issue I have is SG Collins opinion that the money spent on the Apollo missions was a waste.

Collins is an old school hippy who believes that money should be spent on the "poor" instead of space, military, police, etc., never realizing that the more money you spend on the poor, the more poor you create, but that's for another debate. He only responded to White's ignorant theories about the photography and video images, something Collins knows about and White doesn't.

But the money spent on space is not one directional. Many inventions and scientific discoveries have come from space (and yes, even military spending) that improves *everyone's* way of life, including the poor. Many medical advances have come from experiments conducted on spacecraft.

You're right, but people like White will only say the artifacts are fake. You can't change the mind of an irrational fool.

Some interesting thoughts in the Apollo 13 section of the " Explained by the Billy Meier Contacts:

Wikipedia: Eduard Albert Meier, commonly nicknamed "Billy", is the founder of a UFO religion called the (Free Community of Interests for the Border and Spiritual Sciences and Ufological Studies) and alleged contactee whose UFO photographs are claimed to show alien spacecraft.

reply

Yes, that's one way for a person to consider what is plausibly true/accurate.

A choice between Meier and the information that has been directly attributed with him throughout the years, or WikiPedia.

reply

The hoax doesn't rate debunking. It's so ludicrous it induces laughter from rational people the first time they hear it. As for the others, facts don't make a dent in their thick skulls.
