That hairstyle of hers that she rocked in first few seasons looked like she was one of the Gibson girls from 1890’s.

Very much so. I always wondered if they chose that hairstyle to make Janeway even more Katherine Hepburn-like than she already was.

She looked better with the long hair. The short haircut was that of a female coach that wants to speak to managers type

I thought it was still a cute look for her, though longer hair is usually best.
