What exactly happened to Maxine? Did she somehow get the poison that was ment for Cameron? I missed that bit. I saw when Nico and Peri found her unconscious but not what caused it.

I don't think we know.
She didn't drink anything and was making a appointment with the hospital about needing a check up as she wasn't feeling well just before she got trapped in the lift.
I think there was something wrong, but being trapped meant that her help was delayed, not saying that the baby could have been saved if she got help straight away though, it's unknown.

So it's not sure it's Nicos and Peris fault? Anything could've caused it?
shareAnything could have caused the miscarriage, including Peri and Nico trapping her in the lift, they don't know.
She was feeling ill and if she got to the hospital straight away, she and the baby could have been okay, or she could still have had a miscarriage.
All they know is that Maxine was trapped and alone and IF she had gotten help straight away, the baby MAY have been okay.
Although I don't think that either Peri and Nico knew that Maxine was feeling ill before she was trapped, so they may think that they caused it.

She drank water at the Lomax house which was poisoned for Cameron and then went to the hospital looking for Nico who locked her in the lift
sharePeri threw the poisoned tea away and Maxine was feeling sick before she got to the Lomax'. She was on the phone to the hospital to get a appointment.
The lift is outside Cameron's flat, it just appeared last week, the plan was to trap Cameron in it, but Cameron told Maxine that Nico was down there waiting, so Maxine got in the lift.
