The Correct Order For The Episodes
For all of my friends who have the one-and-only Season One DVD package, the intended order is episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 19, 5, 6, 7, 14, 13, 8, 20, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 21, 22, 16, 17, 18. Look how disordered the broadcast schedule for this landmark Gothic show was. Ep 19 after Ep 4?! Really?! And you, CBS, were once the Tiffany Network! The network of Walter Cronkite and the Dean of TV news, Edward R. Murrow. Shame on you, CBS. But glory to us fans of the real American
Gothic!
My goodness! Trying to watch this series in its proper sequence is like doing The Iron Man Triathlon, isn’t it? Episode 19
after Episode 4?! Episode 20 after Episode 8?! What kind of son-in-law, grandfathered-in, nepotistic asshole was making these decisions?! What if we just randomized the episodes of American Horror Story today? From 23 years ago, I will, to quote Al Pacino apropos of Keaneau Reeves in The Devil’s Advocate, “I take [it], and I don’t look back.”
