Where was the series shot?
I've been searching, but haven't been able to find any concrete information, but what location was the series shot initially shot?

I knew it was filmed in Wilmington,NC. I'm curious about what parts of Wilmington was used. I was wondering if they filmed in the historical part of downtown.

I think they filmed all over.
But I know I recognized the bridge at one point from near downtown on 6th street. It's the same one used on One Tree Hill.
The boarding house was on 4th and Orange Street. I think it's across the street from the church whose steeple rises above the town in the opening credits. The Buck mansion is on 3rd and Ann. The street Merlyn almost gets Buck run over on is Market at Water Street. The underpass is on McRae near 74. The bridge where Caleb gets teased and Merlyn develops her crush is a couple miles north of Wilmington, on the river between Castle Hayne Rd and Rt 40. If you go to Bing Maps you can zoom in and see some familiar sights.
