My IMDB iPhone application says it's PG
There is no way this could be PG! It's pretty extreme stuff, even though it's not graphic. Yet it's quite disturbing....anyone can confirm?

Yeah, there's no way that this is PG. PG-13 definitely. Lots of sexual innuendos, a hit of blood, and very little cursing.

I don't remember when the TV rating system began, but this show is most likely TV-14.

TV-14 seems plausible as it's rated 15 here in the UK. I found the episode The Buck Stops Here to be particularly disturbing, especially when Gail is eating the undercooked beef and the finale episode, Requiem, with the baby doll covered in blood. I really enjoyed American Gothic to start with, but became more and more uneasy as the series went on.
