Just wanted to say it.
Gary Cole was perfection in the role.
It was well written, directed and acted.
And it should have ran for at least two more seasons.
And yet, Two and a Half Men remains on the air....

2.5 men is terrible with kutcher, but i still watch it for allan and the kid! I'm looking forward to watching gothic, just sourced some dvd's! I remember it vividly and yeh Gary Cole, that was his role wasn't it? That Caleb stole the show though, looking forward to watching it again.....

shareafter having watched every episode when i was 7, i finally found the series 1 and am watching it again, and already remember why i loved this show, i am now 25, i can't believe this only had one season...it's still one of the best shows to this day in my opinion.
shareThis show and Carnivale. Both Shows ended well before they should have. They should do an American Gothic new series with a continuation of later years. Same actors if they can. American Gothic isn't American Gothic though without Gary Cole.

I also miss American Gothic! I remember watching it back in the 90s and loved the show. One thing I liked was seeing Nick Searcy's Deputy character standing on his own, and becoming more assertive against Gary Cole's sheriff.
