Thanks to Leviathan and all who've posted this in the past. If you find it too much trouble to watch them in order just be sure to watch "Requiem" last.

Why Do TV Execs Decide To Do This ?

Recently I watched the Drew Carey Show, from Go to Whoa, and Season 4 was the same, all Over the place. Which I thankfully realised quickly, and located the correct airing list on IMDB (thanks).

Now I am watching American Gothic and just stumbled on this post by accident. At least I am only 7 shows in so no Damage has been really done to the story line.

Just wanted to say how this lack of Commitment to Quality by some TV Execs really Pi$$es me Off.

Poor Descisions by people can ruin a great Show, which possibly happened here, Definatley happened to Drew carey, and the less said about HBO the bet.......

Thanks
I realized things were a bit off when during "Triangle" Gail was recalling memories I hadn't yet seen in the show. I'm glad I didn't brush it off, or else I would've seen the finale way too early and then be left wondering how the heck "Strangler" was a decent conclusion to the show.

I unfortunately decided to skip IMDb till after I watched it all so that I didn't get any spoilers... Darnnit!

Agreed that this is the correct order.

I can understand (to some extent) why they might skip airing an episode on tv, but would it really kill them to put the episodes in the proper order once the series is released on disc??? I have three double-sided discs, and I was constantly having to change discs or flip them over, just to watch in the right order!

That being said, I definitely wouldn't watch them out of sequence; so many things wouldn't make sense...

Are you guys sure that this is the proper episode list? I only ask because there've been a couple posters here who've mentioned that they'd seen flashbacks that hadn't happened yet in the disc order, and I just had the same reaction while watching this is this proper order.

I am only up to episode 11 in this new proper order. I watched Rebirth, episode 11, today and saw something in the beginning when Merlyn tries to attack Lucas in a church. It was in this strange new title scene changed for episode 11. Well, that scene is from Inhumanitas, your guyses episode 14. So if they showed what happened in episode 14 in episode 11, isn't there a lingering thought that there might be something off here still? Or maybe it's just supposed to be that way...

reply

Not sure why they would put a spoiler scene in the opening credits, but I think I've seen shows do that before... Maybe to get you to keep watching? To make it look like exciting things will be happening in future eps? Not sure.

But I'm fairly confident that the order listed here is the correct viewing order.

One thing I can say for certain is that the order in which the eps appear on the discs is incorrect. Watching them straight through in that order will cause confusion. I don't understand why they can't put them in the correct order when they release the discs...

Thanks so much for this information! During some of the early episodes, from time to time the characters seemed to be referring to events and situations that I knew nothing about. I thought it was me (maybe I blinked and missed a few key moments?) and kept watching. Then tonight, just as I was about to watch "Requiem" (marked as Episode 18), it dawned on me that "Requiem" sounded more like the title one would give to a finale...which made me wonder if the episodes might have been incorrectly numbered all along. I only wish I'd stumbled upon this thread sooner.

Thank you. This message should be pinned, for anyone to see.

Thanks for this.
You list is slightly different to the iMDB list, but my DVD (Universal Playback) is all over the place.
I have the order
1, 2, 3, 4, 19, 5, 6, 7, 14, 13, 8, 20, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 21, 22, 16, 17, 18
Like, seriously, who fecked up that much?
Gonna try your order and hopefully it'll be a vast improvement.
