Lucas Black's accent
I find it amusing that, now that Black is getting some decent exposure for his role on NCIS: New Orleans (2014), he's getting all kinds of criticism for his "fake accent". Those of us who have watched him grow up (and have grown up with him - he and I are the same age) know better than the instant internet experts who think they're so smart for pointing out a "fake". As I pointed out on the board for that series, the only difference in his accent now from what it was in American Gothic, is that his voice is deeper.
For most of my life, I've been mentioning Black in his various roles, and usually get a blank look. "You know, American Gothic, Swingblade, Crazy In Alabama, Tokyo Drift..." and more blank looks. Now I can say, "You know, the young guy on NCIS: New Orleans with the thick accent." "Oh, yeah yeah yeah!"

"Oh, well," said Zanoni, "to pour pure water in the muddy well does but disturb the mud!"
