That kid SUCKED

I came back to this movie after having not seen it in two years, and I remembered it fondly, but I blocked out the kid. The things he does range from what the *beep* is wrong with that kid all the way to . For example, when Freddy is killing his baby sitter, he never looked genuinely scared. Half the time he looked like he was about to crack a smile, and the other half he looked constipated. Plus, the way he screams " REEEX!" after that was just ridiculous. It's almost like he's Jake Lloyd's long lost brother.

You can't fight in here, this is the War Room!!!

Definitely the worst acting in the entire series. I know child actors can often be a problem, but they're not normally THAT bad.

I'd have to agree, at least partially agree. There were at least a few scenes where Hughes was good but other times he was pretty wooden in his delivery.

...SPOON!

The scenes where the kid was good at crying was when they told him:
"You're mother's dead".
That's not a joke. It's on the documentary Never Sleep Again.

*Your, ffs.

It's the one thing the Internet never fails to entertain me, people confused with "You're" and "Your".

Dude: watch the people that get this screwed up (it's my usual sig here) ...

'Then' and 'than' are different words - stop confusing them.

His incessant screaming annoys the ever loving sht out of me!

I really like the film, IMO it's originality was way ahead of it's time, but I always mute the audio when I know he's about to scream.

He's fine the rest of the time, though.

I'm a huge Heather fan, but I thought she should have done more realistic crying. No water came out of her eyes. It's like when you see an interview of a killer on TV (like Scott Peterson), they pretend to cry but they don't make any tears.

I wanted Freddy to kill the kid. He was annoying as f$ck.

Your entitled to your WRONG opinion :)

CharmedLuvr086 - it's actually "You're" entitled...

Anyway, I totally agree with the OP. The kid sucked hard and was the worst thing about this movie!

Wow, I may be the only one who says this but I actually liked his performance a lot. When I first saw Pet Sematary, I was excited to see he played Gage because I recognized him from New Nightmare. I think he is a pretty good actor and he wasn't bad in this movie at all.

I've been waiting for you, Ben.

I agree he was bad and annoying any time he tried to sound demented or evil like Freddy I rolled my eyes. He got way way way too much time in the movie
