Julian makes me laugh pretty much every time he talks. I know the deal with this movie was John Candy (RIP), but I think that the scene with Slade and Julian was awesome. McGinley played it so well, I die every time I watch it.

I love the part when Julian says "Happy Valentines Day" to Slade after shooting him all those times...I laughed my ass off!
shareDid you take a close look at Slade's chest when Julian said that? The bullet holes were in the shape of a heart. Fantastic scene. Let's not forget Julian's giggle during the bath scene in the river.

lol ya i know. Julian was my favorite character too. oh, and lets not forget: "Super. Here's an idea. Why don't you spell it out for me so I can get it right on your tombstone." or: "billy[while Julian is washing his back] So, what brought you out west, Julian? Julian Rogers: Oh, the men. I heard it was just plumb full of them. Billy: Men? [pause] Billy: Oh, because men read more books than women. Julian Rogers: Uh, yeah." Or my favorite: "Sissy boy? Oh please, that's so Dodge City"

Oh my God, Julian! I saw this movie for the first time recently, and I couldn't get over the "men's consciousness raising session" where everyone looked hostile, but Julian was sitting in the front row looking delighted.
That's on my list of top 10 funniest things I've ever seen in my life.
This movie rocks. I don't understand why it flopped. Maybe people weren't ready for it.
Oh thank God, lol. I never saw this movie and I was hoping someone was going to say McGinley was the best character (Or rather, Julian was the best character). I can't to see it. I have to rent it.

sharei've only seen bits and pieces, but McGinley was so memorable i couldn't even recall who else was in the movie! he's absolutely hysterical.
shareI want to be different, but it is Julian by far. I didn't care for any of the other characters that much, although I thought the guy who played J.P. was pretty damn funny during the model trail scene :)
