HELP WITH SIMILAR MOVIE!

ok i know this doesn't have to do with this movie but a long time ago i watched a movie on tv which i never knew the name. I've been searching for the name of this movie and could never find it for years. Maybe someone knows what movie this is and could help me out with the title??... The movie starts off with some guy running through the woods and you don't know why he's running and then he gets shot with and arrow and falls off a cliff i think. the movie mostly takes place in the forest (most likely on a mountain). Then this woman who is like an investagater or something along that line has to go up and find out why this guy is missing. Her boyfriend is an artist and he is later stabbed by the bad guy at the end. So this woman goes up and then has a car accident on the way up (not on the highway or anything, up in the mountains) and some guy offers her help. He takes her back to his cabin and acts nice and everything and offers her shelter. He turns on her later and brings her out to the woods to show her this dead guy hung up in the trees that he killed. he explains his game he wants to play. He gives her a pistol with one bullet and he has a bow. He gives her maybe five minutes to run then he follows her. it's a hunting game. later in the hunt she hits him in the head with a rock which gives her time to escape and eventually she gets away and goes back to the city she came from. on the way back she thinks she sees him sitting on this boat or boat or ferry but she is just imagining things. she thinks its all over but its not. he finds her, kidnaps her friend and starts the game up again with her as the hunter and him as the prey. shes in her terrority now. she goes out to find him and what not, gets her friend back i think, and eventually the end of the movie is near a lake or the ocean. her boyfriend goes wit her. they think they find him but they are wrong and this man is a hobo. the real bad guy comes out of hiding and stabs her boyfriend but he survives. the bad guy escapes into the water by diving off whatever platform they were on. That's all i remeber. I know that was alot fo read but could someone please help me with this?????...
