lol why did the shadow hide out in the water tank?

I'm assuming he was in there before TIm Curry got there. Was he just picking his nose and waiting? Or did The Shadow tiptoe behind Curry and sneak in alongside?

Either way, why did The Shadow make the decision to confront Curry inside a water tank of all places? That entire location is pretty secluded—outside, I mean.

yea that's one of those non sequitur non segue moment in the movie lol made no sense lol

Haha, I also love when Tim Curry pulls out a gun, the Shadow laughs and says, "Who are you gonna shoot with that?!" Meanwhile, his footsteps in the water are like a frickin' elephant and Curry just shoots him. Hahahaha!

reply

haha yeah that was retty funny how he says that and then gets shot, but it was because curry saw his imprint in the water. the shadow clearly works best in the...shadows! haha.

Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies!

Simply, the Shadow is invisible, not incorporeal. As soon as Curry sees his footsteps in the water he shoots, plain.

BAD CGI RUINS MOVIES!!!

Ok, I understand that, but it was just silly that he's stomping around in the water, giving away his position, after taunting Curry with, "Who are you gonna shoot with that?"

He probably thought confronting him in an small enclosed space would be more terrifying and could manipulate him better. He didn't think about his footsteps in the water.
