Favorite Scene?
I have to say the part where The Shadow gets pinned to the wall is one of my favorites. The mongol warriors are screaming, and that awesome music starts playing while he is coming out of the shadows. Bad ass scene.

For such an obscure (non-hit) movie, there are many scenes that jump out and made an impression on me.
-I liked the atmosphere and period ambiance in this film (re-creating NYC in the 30s), but the image of that Llama cigarettes billboard sticks with me.
-I loved the John Lone scenes, but the one in the Chinese restaurant where he is eating with his hands is the best.
-But my very favourite scene was when Margot Lane is getting changed into that dress behind the screen, and Lamont Cranston says, "Psychically.... I am well endowed". And the way her sight-line moves quickly down and then back up is classic.
The Shadow getting pinned to the wall is one of my favorite scenes, too, although my absolute favorite scenes are any in which he pulls both guns from their holsters at the same time. I know that's nothing special; I just think that looks cool.
shareYeh, the scene towards the end where he bursts in on Khan and tell's him he's finished! Love that bit; great music, atmosphere. It's a shame the ending is far less dramatic, but still one of my fav superhero movies.

I agree when he pulls out the dual guns the sudden "lightning" reflect is quick but awesome
Any scene with Baldwin and Lone together is brilliant, or any time Baldwin is talking to Jonathan Winters there is always some cracking dialogue.
"But it happened at sea! See? C for Catwoman!!"
There's a typically brilliant Russell Mulcahy visual when we see a strange Oriental pattern start to warp and it then becomes clear it's Khan, viewed from above, in ornate robes on an equally intricate floor, rising from a prayer position. So cool. That man should direct more movies.
I like the ending for Khan where The Shadow has had him lobotomised – albeit deserved, this is one of the nastiest fates ever dealt out by a superhero to his nemesis.
The part where Lamont and Khan fire a gun at each other at the same time and the bullets pancake on each other. I liked the look on both of their faces when that happened.
shareOne of my favorite shots of The Shadow is the scene inside the Hotel Monolith where the Shadow is scene fully, standing there in full glory with his cloak swaying magnificently. I too love the scenes where he pulls out both guns at once and fires. The film really is a visual pleasure to watch.

Some of my favorite scenes...
When the Shadow walks up the stairs into the Chinese restaurant where Khan is eating. I just love that scene. "Oh that knife"
The billboard blowing out smoke rings mesmerizing Margot's father.
Khan grabbing Claymore by the face after Claymore had said that he was going to be a king in his Kingdom.
When Khan confronts Cranston in his lair, and asks for some bourbon, and calls him Jing Ko.
The scene on top of the skyscraper when Khan throws the sailor off the building.
John Lone is so good in this movie and as that character. I like all of the scenes with Lone especially.
I agree. John Lone is one of my main reasons for enjoying this film so much! He's fun to watch here, but I also love listening to his unique accent!
shareThe scene where he shatters all the mirrors and the explode in a domino effect into Kahn. EPIC!
"The saddest thing in life is wasted talent." ~ A Bronx Tale (1993)
It's a tie between the revealing of the Monolith Hotel, the bridge scene and the product placement involving the ties.
Really though, every part in the film is either awesome, creepy, funny or romantic. Good stuff.
Treachery is the way of the Sith...
Probably the reveal of the hotel. Very well done and the music is perfect.
shareAs someone here has already mentioned, I love the part when The Shadow's shadow is bouncing off of the walls and furniture of the hotel only to materialize on the stairs with his cape flowing and the lightning effect going on from the storm outside. Epic part with the creepy music playing.
On the bridge at the beginning was awesome as well.
"I can't believe that Bryce prefers Van Patten's card to mine..."
