It's always on! I first saw it on BBC when I was young - got it on DVD for christmas this year though :D

Does anyone know why it's often shown so late? It seems to usually start around 11/11.30pm-ish, but it's only got a '12' rating. I don't understand why it's hidden away in the middle of the night, when films with much stronger content and higher ratings are shown from 9pm onwards. :\
