which scences were filmed in oregon?
I'm from Portland and parts of the river wild were filmed on the rogue river in southern oregon. Does anyone have any idea which scences?
shareI'm near Corvallis. I haven't seen the movie but remember a small stink raised when the people making the movie wanted permission to go some places/do some things that environmental regs forbid. Someone pointed out that they were big on the environmental issues but were hypocritical and protested much when it didn't suit them and they didn't get special treatment.
shareI'm from Medford which is about 25-30 minutes from the rogue river. I went on a jetboat excursion about a week ago which rides right along where they filmed the movie.
the boat driver was telling us about movies and such that were filmed around there and he was talking about the river wild and he said that the camping scenes were all shot there and a lot of the drifting scenes where they are just gliding in the water were too. hellgate canyon i believe is where they shot the scene where wade is trying to shoot tom. it was really cool to be there!
i love this movie have for years.
