After the movie

I like to make up stories of where the characters would be after the movie. So here goes

Tom, Gail and the kids-After their ordeal, Tom worked hard at rebuilding a relationship with his family. He started out by paying more attention to his family by coming home every night for dinner and taking a genuine interest in his children. He and Gail also worked hard on their marriage and a year later, Gail gave birth to their third child, a boy, they named Thomas, after his father. During the movie, we could see that there was a huge strain in Tom and Roarke's relationship. Tom made sure he spent time with Roarke every day after work and was always there when Roarke needed to have a man to man talk with his dad. Because of that, Roarke and Tom grew extremely close. Since Roarke was probably between the ages of 8 and 10, maybe 11 when they were taken hostage, he'd probably be in his early to mid 20's. Instead of hating his dad's job, Roarke took an interest in Artitecture and after graduating highschool, went to school to become one. He now works in his dad's office and they continue to be very close. Tom was even Roarke's best man at his wedding.

Terry-After he was arrested for murder and taking Gail, Tom and Roarke hostage, Terry got 20 years in prison. While there, he sent a letter to Tom and Gail and told them how sorry he was for what he did to their family. Tom and Gail sent him a letter back saying that they forgave him.

Willa-Since we don't know much about her or how old she was, I'm going to guess that she looked like she was 5. She took an interest in being a teacher for the deaf, like her mom, and is now following in her mom's footsteps.
