Would a revolver like that function after getting submerged in water?

I know there are certain water-proof guns out there, but is that specific gun one of them?

I am so smart, the only thing I can't comprehend is how stupid everyone else is

Most modern guns that use modern cartridges do fire after being submerged. Its more to do with the bullets, the casings are made to be waterproof. Some guns will even fire underwater.
