Theres more chemistry between Meryl & Kevin rather than with the husban

The love / hate tension is hardcore, iv'e said this about other characters in other movies, there are some good performances out there. This flick is crazy because there is no chemistry whatsoever between Meryl and the husband. And even though she hates the bad guy there's still something there between them.

Gail (played by Meryl) was caught totally off guard by Wade (played by Kevin), who came off as a real gentleman and a charmer, in order to make Gale (Meryl) unaware of what his motives really were. That's what criminals often do; put on a totally different demeanor to hide their true motives, in order to lure somebody to them in order to do them harm, if one gets the drift. Wade was precisely that kind of person--inotherwords, a sociopath.
