I was bored and watched this on Netflix on a "What the hell, I ain't got *beep* else to do" whim the other day and I was absolutely blown away by this movie. The direction, the acting, the subject matter, everything about this movie is absolutely top shelf. I completely expected to log on to this page afterwards and find that this movie is perched somewhere in the Top 250, but I was very surprised, and disappointed, to find it not. This is easily on my own personal list of very favorite films now.

Cool, and its one of those that is even better with multiple viewing.
Great script, not a single misplaced word and acting superb.

It's one of the great underrated movies and for me one of the best movies of the '90s.

It does seem to be a very underrated movie. I can't understand why that is. It could be that people just aren't interested in the story.
I, for one, have always been fascinated by the quiz show scandals. This film brought it to life...
Very well done, excellent performances!

I remember loving it when it was released, and something made me want to revisit it now, all these years later. Couldn't believe it's not available on blu ray, in the US at least. Criminal.

Me, too. I watched it around 15 years ago and I was hooked. Easily one of my top 10 films of the 90s. I am hoping at some point Criterion will release a special edition. All I could find is the dvd. My only problem with the film is the Morrow's accent not quite so good. Otherwise, an exceptional film.

Mine, too. I love the ending, because it got me. I was had just like all the rest.
