Younger generation
Are you guys aware of this film? I wondered if the 20s crown is in to a movie that's 20+ years old. If you haven't watched it,do it now!

shareI turned 23 this year and Pulp Fiction is in my top 5 favorite films ever. It's a very meaningful movie to me.
It wasn't my favorite film when I was in high school, but since I've been out in the real world, it's grown on me.
It's a style of movie we don't really see anymore, which is a shame. I'm glad some of you youngsters are still giving it a chance.
shareI actually think Pulp Fiction is very spiritual; theology is my passion. The dialogue is also like an orchestra. I don't see that in movies today either.
I haven't liked or cared for some of Tarantino's recent films. His last good movie was Inglorious Basterds.
Seems like an early example where the director (for some reason) mixes up the chronology of the narrative, i.e., we see action take place at odds with other scenes where the person couldn't be doing what they are doing. At first it's confusing, and I don't really see the purpose, but it does keep you on your toes.
shareAnd judging by your username you also have a great taste in music.
shareYeah this is one of my favorite movies ever.
shareWell I'm 30 now but I watched this in my twenties, so I'll add something. I think my generation is more into older films and the nostalgia of our parents generations when it comes to media art. I always see more old man type rants from say 23 - 30 year old guys about how everything nowadays sucks. I don't subscribe to the notion that older is better personally. I think the ratio of good to bad has always been depressingly low and we just don't remember the bad films when My Darling Clementine came out.
sharegood point. its all relative.
shareI think you are correct up to a point, but I do feel that the 70's had lots more good movies playing than there are today. Today all theaters play the same movies, but back in the 70's there were lots more movies out and not every theater played the same movies. Just look at an old newspaper from the 70's and you will see 3 or 4 pages of movies advertised.
sharethis was my favorite movie in highschool. im 23 now and have watched it at least 15 or 20 times since. this is a classic film every generation can enjoy it
shareI was wondering the same thing. The responses here are encouraging.
shareI don't qualify to comment here, as I took a date to this movie when it was new.
shareI saw a screening recently at a theatre, and the crowd had a LOT of youngsters! i think every age group has its fans :)
