Is there a lot of violence in this film? I love Travolta films, but I hesitate with this one.. . .. Should I watch it?

Yes there is violence and drug use. If that offends you don't watch.

There's a lot of implied violence but most of it actually happens off screen. For instance, you may see someone point a gun, and then you'll hear the shot and see some blood splatter against a window. In most cases, you don't actually SEE the violence.

You should skip this one and watch battlefield Earth instead

It was like four rooms. Just brief and adds to the story. Quention Tarantino has that style.
