Dorian Tyrell reminds me of

Cillian Murphy?

Am I the only one who notices this.

reply

I see that.

I always thought the same thing myself! Whenever I watch almost any movie with Peter Greene, Cillian Murphy does come to mind (funnily enough, it’s never been the other way around). This of course is based on Cillian’s looks, acting style (at least in certain roles), and maybe even his speech pattern when he’s playing an American.

Oh, and Cillian’s Scarecrow’s voice in Batman Begins may remind me of Dorian’s voice when he’s the mask.

I never realized it, but yeah, they do look similar. I always wondered why Peter Greene wasn't a bigger star. He was in a lot of classic 90's movies but then seemed to drop off the face of the Earth.

reply

True. Probably the last big thing he appeared in was “Training Day” and he only had a minor role there. Since then he has continued to appear in tons of movies, but it’s mostly been direct-to-video stuff.

Although he was always seen as more of a character actor than the leading actor type, he was always a standout.

his balding scalp

reply

Good call. Whatever happened to Peter Greene anyway?

reply

he went bald ungracefully
