shareI agree who cares what Siskel and Ebert offer as a review. They had obnoxiously high viewing standards. The Wayans brothers have a resume full of outrageous comedies. Their comedy is akin to the style of MAD magazine ... very unconventional and you either like the comedy or you don't. Major Payne is a funny movie with Damon Wayans playing an active duty army Major who finds himself assigned to a private military school with a bunch of misfit JROTC students. His job is to turn this group of misfits into a disciplined cadre of JROTC cadets. Not an easy task. Damon Wayans is convincing and many scenes are gut busting funny.
