I've seen this a lot. It's good on paper, but they shouldn't go for it. Not because it would be bad, but because it will just be too much of him doing villainous voice roles. It's too obvious, which isn't good casting. He was Smaug, he's going to be Shere Khan, let's give someone else a shot.
