Like a pretentious version of A River Runs Through It

Another tale of brothers in the American wilderness in the 20's, with a wise voice-over, again with Brad, but this time with a lot of hokey new age 'communing with Native Americans' guff and pretentious symbolism.

It's so bloated, and melodramatic. I don't think it's a bad movie, but as gorgeously produced as it all is, and as involving as it generally proves to be, it's certainly not quite as mature and graceful a movie as Redford's is, no.
